Workouts

December 10, 2012
Back to core! This is by far my favorite workout. I'm still in awe that I don't have to jump, kick, or do anything to that extent to get a killer workout. Pure control and isolation. I have struggled with a rib that dislocates in my back for about 5 years. I've been to the doctor, physical therapist, and chiropractor and they are all just temporarily fix the pain. Doing this workout the pain is gone! I know its because my back is getting strong and is stronger than it has ever been! I've only done this workout for 8 days and I can tell a huge difference. Can't wait for day 30!

Today was awesome! I got my cute husband, Brandon, to do the workout with me! I loved it! Both of us are fairly competitive (well, I'm really competitive and he's a fighter) so I felt more pushed than any other workout. Shaun T said, "If your working out with someone, you get right next to them at beat them!" B probably doesn't know, but I was always trying to beat him :). We did strength and it is such a good workout. I loved it.

Speed and agility....huh. I always thought that the Beach Body models who are on camera working out with sweat flinging off their forehead was fake. It's not. Happened to my plenty today! I thought going into today's workout that I would be able to do it better then the first day..I did, a little, but not much. The cardio and footwork are there for me, but the shoulder work kicks my trash! I love it. I'm addicted.

December 7th, 2012
The day I have been waiting for! Rest day! The calendar has it as a no activity day, but I'm hooked. I couldn't not do something. So, I did the relief workout! Can you say 25min of pure stretching! In P90X and Insanity, I never liked the recovery because it was like yoga and was super hard for me. Asylum=no yoga! I feel awesome.I have completed all of the workouts and couldn't feel any better!

December 6th, 2012
Seeing that yesterday the workout was high impact, only seems appropriate that today is a lot of jumping and kicks my butt, right? Well, today was vertical plyo. The name it self gives all the information about the workout. Lots, and lots of jumping. My calf and legs were completely on fire just in the warm up. The best thing about today, I could feel my cardio getting much better. Don't 1min of switch kicks was hard, but didn't kill me! The workouts are awesome and I can tell I am improving!

December 5th, 2012
First things first..I can't walk, can't bend down, can't even sit down to go to the bathroom..AND I LOVE IT! Today, was Back to Core. First thoughts, this is going to be strictly a core workout. Every beach body program I have done, has at least one core specific workout. Well, I was wrong. They key work is BACK. This workout was awesome. Not a ton of jumping, push ups, or heck, even moving. Just lots of controlled moves that really worked your core and your back. I loved it. My favorite one so far.

December 4th, 2012
Holy cow! I am sore! Doing both the fit test and the first work out, speed and agility, I had a hard time getting out of bed. Today's work out was Strength. It was awesome! Not as intense as speed and agility but totally demanding. I felt an awesome workout throughout my entire body! By the end, my core, legs and arms were shaking.
I loved today's workout. Shaun T, you kicked my butt! Can't wait to wake up even more sore tomorrow! Sweet pain of hard work!

December 3rd, 2012
Today, I finished both the fit test and the speed and agility work out. Let me tell you, the word insane, doesn't do this justice! I got my butt handed to me. The speed of the workouts and how quickly you switch from one to another is beyond insane. I never want to say the word Bear Crawl again. Shaun T, nice work, buddy. You made me work!  I loved it. I'm pumped to go again tomorrow. With a workout this crazy, there is no way results won't happen!
Lesson learned: I need to eat more food before I work out. I became light headed and I know its because I didn't eat too much this afternoon. Between the fit best and workout, I ate dinner and was able to work much harder the second time around.
