Week 1:
It is incredible to me that in one week I can feel a complete change. My cardio, muscles weight and eating habits have turned a 360. I have lost 7 pounds, sleep much better, have much more energy and overall feel much heather I love this life style change. I truly am getting my fitness back! I was born an athlete and this is bringing it all back!

Why?
The body is an incredible machine. Like any other working machine, if not treated right, it will eventually lose its functionality. We only get one body, so why in the world would we let our personal machine lose functionality? Quick fixes, they only mask the problem. Just like with a machine, in order to get full function back, the main problem has to be solved. Diets, only mask the problem.
What we need is a life style change!
Hi! I'm Caitlin Young. Growing up, I have always been very fit and very athletic. Playing on a high level soccer and basketball team most of my life, I never had to consciously stay fit. I did't have a choice. Since I have been married, I have totally noticed a change. For a profession, I am a soccer coach. I love it, it is my passion. While play with my girls, I noticed a little excess "jiggle" throughout my core and legs. I would never consider myself fat, but right now, I would consider myself to by unhealthy.
This isn't an attempt to get skinny. This is my journey to Getting Fit Back!
A whole new life style change. My eating habits will be changed. By exercise habits will change. My sleep habits will change. Overall, I will change for the better.
The program that I have chosen to do is:
Beach Body Insanity: The Asylum.
This is a 30 day, intense workout and diet program. Beach Body offers many incredible products that are designed for a certain type of person. For my, Insanity: The Asylum was a no brainier It is specifically designed for athletes in the game, and out of the game. This will help me Get Fit Back.
Things that will change:
- Shakeology This is an incredible product by Beach Body that has the most nutritious elements into one shake. This will replace my breakfast.
- 5 Meals a day- Yes, I said 5. I will drink a Shakeology drink in the morning, have a small snack between breakfast and lunch, a big lunch containing all elements of a full meal, a snack between lunch and dinner, and then finally I will eat a light dinner.
- Early to rise-Early to bed- Bed time no later than 10. Arise by 7.
- No Soda Pop- Wish me luck! This one will be hard, but worth it. Lots and lots of water instead!
- Daily Reports- I will keep track of my daily diet and workouts.
